My favourite items of the new Doutzen’s Stories collection by Hunkemöller

November 4, 2018

Last Tuesday, October 30, was the launch of the new “Doutzen’s Stories” collection by Hunkemöller. I got approached by Hunkemöller to be one of the first to receive some items of this collection, and of course I said yes! When it comes to lingerie, I have a soft spot for black lace, and this collection has a lot of that. I’ve always liked the designs by Hunkemöller and especially the ones from the collections in collaboration with dutch model Doutzen Kroes.

The main colours of this autumn’s collection are black and petrol blue, which give it a luxurious and chique look. Doutzen once again managed to release a set of items that are sexy and feminine, yet fashionable and stylish at the same time. The main materials that are used are black lace, petrol blue velvet, and satin. Apart from that, you’ll also find some berry-coloured items. I’m a fan!

I received a beautiful black lace kimono and a pair of blue velvet pyjama shorts. I took both with me to Amsterdam this week, where I shot the pictures for this blog post. I have been wearing the shorts all weekend as well, since I stayed home to get some schoolwork done and to work on my blog. I needed a comfy outfit and those shorts are just perfect for that! They are made of the softest material, but the lace details add a sexy and feminine touch.

Apart from the items I received, my favourites are the “Potion bra“, the “Lunar bra“, and the “Black Magic body“. Make sure to have a look at the collection at your nearest Hunkemöller store or at their online website if you want to get your hands at one of the collection’s items.

Let me know what your favourite item of the Doutzen’s Stories by Hunkemöller is!

I'm a copywriter & content creator with a passion for travelling, sustainable fashion & literature. I turned my dream into reality by moving from Ghent to London, where you can find me browsing vintage markets, sipping coffee in my favourite coffee shops early in the morning or spending too much money on vegan food. As an endless wanderer, what truly sets my soul on fire is travelling and the excitement of discovering new places and getting lost in unknown cities. I started this platform to share my travel stories with you, but I'd also love to take you along on my journey into a more sustainable lifestyle, share my appreciation for vintage shopping and thrifting, and motivate you to find joy in the little things.
