FASHION OUTFIT

#OOTD: Big blogger date, Ghent

Hi everyone! I feel like it has been ages since I wrote my last blog post. Due to exams I had no time at all to write or even take outift pictures. But now those two horrible months of studying are over, I finally have time to work out all the ideas I’ve got in my head.  Since the new semester started today, I’m back at my dorm room in Ghent which means it’s time to look for hotspots and go to cool events again. One of those hotspots is Madam Bakster. Madam Bakster is a guiltfree and vegan bakery that recently opened it’s first branch in Ghent. I was really excited when I heard about the opening so I was beyond happy when blogger Hanne from Hannewhale organized a big blogger date at Madam Bakster.

The idea of meeting up with a group of 30 bloggers made me both exciting and nervous. There were a lot of people I didn’t know personally yet and I can be quite shy when it comes to meeting new people but I’m very happy I went. Everyone was so sweet and it’s very interesting to get to know the face behind the Instagram pictures. We talked about lots of different things, took tons of pictures (what else to expect from a group of bloggers?) and made some plans to meet again in the future. I’m definitely looking forward to see these girls again!

Before heading to Madam Bakster, I met with Laurence to go for a hot chocolate at Chocolato and shoot some outfit pictures. I wore a faux leather skirt from Stradivarius with a leopard printed blouse from Bershka I bought last week in Poland. I combined it with a faux leather jacket (which I bought in Amsterdam once, but don’t remember the brand) and my Forever21 chelsea boots.

Madam Bakster really was the perfect place for us, bloggers, to meet. Both the interior, the tableware and of course the food and drinks are totally #instaproof. I had a pie with avocado and lemon and my friend Laurence had one with mango, passion fruit and chocolate. And I can tell you: they taste as good as they look! 😉 I really recommend this place if you’re planning to visit Ghent.

Madam Bakster is located at Brabantdam 142, Ghent. The pies and other products can also be ordered online.

Have you met people you know from the internet yet?

love, Chloé
